Embarking on a recent musical pilgrimage to the birthplace of the Mariachi, Guadalajara, México to produce and record an authentic Mariachi album of Debé's Spanish songs, Debé had the great fortune to encounter Mariachi trumpeter extraordinarire, Mr. José Cruz and the impressive trumpet artist, renowned Mariachi Agustin Sandoval.  During our fantastic Mariachi recordings, Debé they all nurtured a secret musical side -- pop/jazz!  Although these Debé Gunn songs all have lyrics, not a thing is missing here -- the emotion/words exquisitely expressed as these two 'maestros' resplendently paint a brass-shaded magic on her jazz/pop compositions!
